Assessing Residents needs: (Please
note we do not provide nursing care)
Service Users: Winash is registered to admit men and women over the age of 65 for residential care. The type of care we provide is that of a caring relative. We provide additional support in a caring environment and ensure residents enjoy the very best quality of life. Initial / Introductory Visits: Prosective residents are encouraged to visit our home in order to make an informed choice about their admission to Winash. This visit also enables Winash to make an initial assessment of the persons needs. Trial Stay: Winash would normally consider the first four weeks as a trial period which may be terminated at any time by giving just one weeks notice. During the trial period we will continually review the needs of the resident. At the end of this trial period we will conduct a review of their care needs and determine whether Winash is suitable for their continued residency. Respite / Short Term Stay: Winash has dedicated respit rooms and can offer respit as and when a room vacancy arises. Emergency short stays are subject to a comprehensive assessment and the availability of a room. |
