Our Staff Team is managed by Care Home Managers, Heather House and Natasha Chapman who have many years experience in care services. Heather is also a registered nurse. Winash has been a Care Home since 1938 and has been in Heathers’ family since 1973.
Heather and Natasha are backed by a full complement of Care Assistants, many of whom hold NVQ’s and other appropriate qualifications.
In addition, we have a dedicated domestic team and laundry personnel as well as full qualified catering staff who provide nutritious home cooked meals for residents.
Many of our staff are local people who have been with us for a number of years and have built up a strong friendship with our residents.

I started working at Winash 13 years ago. I have gained my NVQ 2 + 3 in Health and Social Care and love working along side other staff and care professionals. I come to work everyday to help, support and care for all the residents, going home after a shift feeling proud of my day as I have made a real difference
All new staff have to go through stringent vetting procedures, including personal references checking, Disclosure and Barring Service checks, and Protection of Vulnerable Adults register.
